Regulatory & Compliance

SKYVENE is designed with compliance at its foundation, not as an afterthought.

Regulatory Positioning

SKYVENE facilitates introductions between parties and provides information services. SKYVENE does not provide regulated investment advice under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). All investment decisions remain with the parties involved, who should seek independent professional advice.

Compliance Perimeter

Every AI-generated output is classified against UK financial services perimeter rules before reaching a user. Our conservative defaults mean content is classified one tier more restrictively when uncertain. Every classification decision is logged in our audit trail.

Information — Pure factual content. Descriptions, financial data, process explanations.

Introduction — Connecting parties for independent evaluation. Permitted with appropriate framing.

Arrangement — Actively facilitating a transaction. Requires careful structuring.

Advice — Recommendations on suitability. Out of scope without FCA authorisation. Blocked.

Anti-Money Laundering

All investors undergo KYC verification, sanctions screening, and PEP checks before accessing deal information. Source of wealth declarations are required. SKYVENE maintains records as required by the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.

Data Protection

SKYVENE processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Data is stored in EU-region servers. Investor and deal data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

All regulatory positioning and compliance processes are subject to validation by qualified UK legal counsel.
